
In November 2007 we decided to try cinema advertising for our Warwick store. We recognized the importance of branding our company to the local people, telling them who we are, what we do and where we are.
We researched many different types of media options, before deciding to contact CINEads to find out how cinema advertising could assist in the growth of our business. Alan Loveridge was our point of contact within CINEads, and at our initial meeting, he clearly and concisely Explained the advantages of cinema advertising and how it could help us to maximize on consumer awareness in the area of Warwick Shopping Centre. We found Alan extremely professional, with a strong knowledge and wareness of media advertising. Elisabeth and I decided that we would commission the services of CINEads, to assist in the growth of our company.
We were apprehensive as Alan clearly explained that it was a long term branding campaign which wouldn’t bring us instant results. During our first year of cinema advertising we ascertained that this media doesn’t work in the same way as traditional media, and that it worked at a slower pace.
Our experience shows our potential customers see our advert more than once, and it has impact due to the relaxed environment in which they see it. The frequency creates a stronger awareness of our company. We are now at the stage where we are seeing incredible results as consumers are now remembering who we are, where we are located and what our company is about.
Without any doubt it makes sense to try different types of media advertising, however, we found that cinema advertising works really well for us, and highly recommend to anyone that is thinking about it, to give cinema advertising a go. We were informed correctly from the start not to expect any increase in consumer traffic for the first 3 months, within 6 months we found that more customers were finding Home Addiction, due to awareness of our advertising campaign.

Customers in the store still comment that they’ve seen our advert at Warwick cinema; this is fantastic to hear as it confirms that the name Home Addiction is constantly being seen by hundreds of potential customers, 365 days of the year.
We are extremely happy with the cinema advertising that we have in place, and believe it to be a very effective Media that works well for us; consequently, we are now planning on increasing our advertising campaign in other cinemas, and would suggest that you consider getting your company on the big screen as soon as possible.
